Black & White 2
Once again Lionshead Studios has you assuming the position of a minor deity, guiding your race of cute but dumb followers to death or glory. Black and White 2 follows the gather/build/fight pattern of game play which has long been a staple of the god-sim genre. The methods of exerting your divine influence have, however, become far more complex, with many different paths to shepherd your people along.
To compensate for the amount of content, all control is performed via an amputated floating hand that represents your divine presence in the world. Unfortunately this proves tricky to control and can lead to frustration in the trickier parts of the game.
Overall the game feels somewhat unsatisfying; giving the impression that better control and structure could have made this game shine.
